Gary Wilkerson answers questions about the power, presence and wrath of God.
Does God’s omnipotence have any limits that are not of his own making?
If God holds all things together, how can hell and the lake of fire exist void of God’s presence?
What is a healthy theological view of God’s wrath for the believer?
Are any of God’s attributes greater than the others?
God’s power, or omnipotence, is perfect and will not contradict itself or any of God’s other attributes.
God, apart from Christ, does not have a physical body because he is Spirit. He exists outside the realm of space and time.
God is omnipresent. There isn’t any place where he isn’t present. God is everywhere at all times simultaneously.
God’s wrath is not limited to the Old Testament. There is a New Testament wrath that is being both revealed now and stored up until judgment day for those who reject Christ.
God is 100% all of his attributes. He is not more love than wrath or less justice than wisdom.
All of God’s attributes work in harmony with one another.
Deepening your understanding of God will bring you to a greater place of worship.
