God wants his people to be wholly holy—spirit, soul and body. He cares for the whole person. Eric Barber—former CrossFit athlete, trainer and gym owner—joins Gary Wilkerson to discuss how God has called him to help others with fitness, health and nutrition.
At a very young age, the first time he grasped a pair of dumbbells, Eric Barber felt a strong connection to working out.
After a radical experience of God’s love, Eric Barber offered to lay down his CrossFit career, but God told him that it was his calling to help others get healthy and fit.
The gym may not be a ministry, but ministry can take place at the gym.
God wants us to be wholly holy in spirit, body and soul. He is concerned about the whole person.
Many Christians will work to have a healthy spiritual and emotional life, but often neglect their physical health.
1 Thessalonians 5:23
