He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.
Acknowledging the judgments of God allow us to know God more fully.
Without justice and judgment, sin would go unpunished.
If we're not careful, we will eliminate parts of God we don't like and by doing that, repaint the image of God.
