Help! My Feet Are Slipping

Michael Petillo

January 29, 2017

There may come times in your Christian walk when it feels like your faith is slipping away. You see the hardships in your own life and the evil in the world around you and wonder if God is truly good. You ask yourself, “Have I followed Jesus for nothing?” In Psalm 73, Asaph faced a similar crisis of faith. It wasn’t until he “entered the sanctuary of the Lord” that his hope was restored. God compassionately heals the brokenhearted by revealing his glory and majesty. This doesn’t happen in a church service or during flashes of intimacy with him, but when we make a choice to continually seek him.

Called to be Heroes

Rick Hagans

January 22, 2017

Every culture has its heroes. And the world is full of people looking for a hero. Did you know that you’re called to be a hero to someone? You may not feel very heroic, but Pastor Rick Hagans reminds us that God chooses unlikely heroes. They aren’t always popular, and — apart from Jesus, the ultimate hero— they are far from perfect. David committed adultery. Noah got drunk. Peter denied Christ. We are all broken people, but with a little faith, God can make you a hero.

April 10, 2016

We all have times in life, and you may be there now, when we need a miraculous breakthrough of divine favor from God. You’re in a season of petitioning—pleading with God from the depths of your heart. You may need to wait there for a little while, but eventually you need to move into a time of proclaiming God’s promises and favor over your situation. Don’t pull back from what God wants to do in your life. Instead, step forward in faith, knowing that He is a good Father who wants to bless you.

The 52

Gary Wilkerson

January 25, 2015

Each believer has been given the power of the Holy Spirit in fullness, yet we do not see the church prevailing. Why are we not a triumphant church full of love and grace? Pastor Gary Wilkerson reminds us of the fifty-two "one another" verses in the New Testament that speak of the unity, love and humility that we're to show to one another—even when it isn't always reciprocated.

Waiting for the Power of God

Gary Wilkerson

January 15, 2017

What does waiting look like for a Christian? Pastor Gary Wilkerson focuses on how the disciples waited. They waited with joy, continued in their daily life and spent time together with God. They saw their impossible situation, and rather than acting in their own strength they waited on God. They moved from self-sufficiency to Holy Spirit dependency. When you wait on God, He will move in your life. You will be clothed with power to face your impossible situation.

Growing in Grace

Michael Petillo

January 8, 2017

In 2 Timothy, 2 Peter and Revelation we see three different authors (Paul, Peter and John) all share one message—you must grow in the grace of Jesus Christ. Pastor Michael Petillo looks at what that means. Grace teaches you to say no to ungodliness and gives you a deeper desire to look upon Jesus. As God's grace increases in your life you will start to see Him bring breakthroughs.

Why Christ Came – Part 4: Stand Firm Thus

Gary Wilkerson

December 25, 2016

Because Jesus came and was exalted, Christians have the promises and the power needed to stand firm in the Lord. Some of the promises that we have are peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing the secret to living with plenty and with nothing, and the knowledge that we can do all things through Christ! Once we begin to understand these promises, we will begin to live for the glory of God. We will love one another for the glory of God and be generous for the glory of God. We will be able to stand firm and live as overcomers because we know that the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ will be with us always!

Why Christ Came - Part 3: Going Ten Rounds With Jesus

Michael Petillo

December 18, 2016

Do you have what it takes to go ten rounds with Jesus? Can you “lay hold” of God and make Him your own? Using the example of Jacob, a patriarch who wrestled with God and wouldn’t let go until he was blessed, Pastor Michael Petillo encouraged us to lay hold of the Word of God. Being in the Word of God will prepare the provision for the warfare that is ahead and will put a fight in you to continue going forward. Don’t run in the other direction today, press toward the goal! Get into the fight, don’t give up and lay hold of all the blessings God has for you!

Michael Petillo

December 11, 2016

As Christians we receive a variety of giftings and callings—pastors, missionaries, administration, hospitality, etc.—but there is one calling we all share. We're all called to be servants. Being a servant isn't about the tasks you do, but seeing and valuing people the way that God does. It's about pouring out your life for the betterment of others. When you have a Spirit-birthed servant heart you will begin to see God's anointing and power truly work through you life.

Why Christ Came – Part 1: For the Glory of God and the Joy of Man

Gary Wilkerson

December 4, 2016

How can you have joy in the middle of suffering and hurt? Pastor Gary Wilkerson preaches from Philippians and explains how the apostle Paul had joy in the midst of despair. Paul looked to Jesus instead of focusing on the hurt around him. Just like Paul, all of the circumstances you face can bring glory to God. It’s crucial to keep your eyes on Jesus and know that He will make everything work out for His good and your joy!
