As we pass the one year mark of the worldwide pandemic, the story emerging is one that the church has known all along: more profound than our human differences are God-given commonalities like the need for food, water, shelter and hope.

The Great Physician came to heal the sick, and he continues to do his powerful work in the United States’ prisons.

One of World Challenge’s partners in the United States, a husband and wife team, have a ministry in the prisons reaching out to inmates with the gospel. Sadly, COVID-19 restrictions have kept Chaplain Mario and Barbara from being able to enter the facilities the last few months.

Food and Love for Our Neighbors

Local ministries are reaching out to the abandoned and ignored in the United States with food and community.

Every Friday, World Challenge’s partners in Florida, Sharing Hope, prepare lunches and pack bags of groceries with canned goods, fruit, vegetables, bread and pastries. They also prepare 50 bags of children’s lunches with hot dogs, juice, fruit and other goodies.
