In our lives our own efforts fade and wither, but Scriptures remind us that God’s Word endures forever. God has put this imperishable seed of His Word in us. This seed produces a growing faith — giving us power to believe. Through the Word we are purified and holy, which enables us to live an obedient life. God is making us holy just as He is holy.
