There is a difference between individuality and selfishness. In Galatians 6, we see the importance of being individually strong in the Lord. If we are to restore others as indicated by these verses, then we must be spiritually strong individuals. We also see that we are to bear each other's burdens (difficult situations), but we are to bear our own loads (responsibilities). A strong community of believers requires individuals that are strong in the Lord.
