There is a deep abiding inner peace that only comes from Jesus. This peace is deep within those who know and understand Christ and trust that God has everything under control. When God's word is entwined in our heart and mind we will be led down a pathway of peace. This peace is the mark of the work of God. However, when we begin to leave the single pursuit of glorifying God and begin to find pleasure in this world your heart will turn from truth. You will find yourself being led away from the will of God , led away by a lust to satisfy self, and you will lose the desire to be a servant.

The restraining of evil is found in the presence of the Holy Spirit. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit and God's presence in our lives is a restrainer of evil. When we choose to walk in right relation with God, distresses and judgments can be averted by the restraining power of God and this generation has a chance to hear His voice. We must never underestimate the restraining influence in a righteous man who chooses to walk in divine order with God.

This is a message for those who think they have failed God and made a mess out of their life. God has intertwined His life with His church and it doesn’t matter how far we have fallen. We are never out of God's reach. Those who are in Christ will not be overcome by the enemy. The serpent will not take us, but rather we will take him up. Whatever death the enemy has caused us to swallow will not harm us. God will fill us with His power, and His life will overflow with healing through us onto a sin sick world. These are the signs that will follow those who choose to believe.

When God speaks a word in our heart and causes us to understand that He has washed us and cleansed us we can proclaim His goodness. There is a confident trust because we understand that we have been washed by the Blood of the Lamb because of the goodness of God. We are called to glorify God by entering into His presence and rejoice in Him. There is a wonderful manifestation of God's glory in our life when we lay hold of His goodness.
