There are times in our life when the Cross of Christ seems to loom larger in our life and we recognize that we are in deep darkness passing through the valley of the shadow of death. It is in this valley we must determine above all to trust God as our shepherd and refuse to be utterly given over to fear. When we are certain that as our shepherd the Lord is with us we can replace this fear with the truth of that is promised us in Psalm 23, even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death the Lord God Almighty is with us.

When we believe the Lord, He gives us the strength and power to obey Him. God will bring us face to face with our stronghold and ask us to utterly destroy that which keeps us under a foreign kingdom. The work of God is to believe in the One whom God has sent to destroy these kings. Jesus came to destroy every kingdom that opposes His kingdom. Jesus brings the destruction, our part is believing Him to do it.

The religion of Bethsaida opens our eyes to the miracles of Jesus but only in measure. This religion sees the body of Christ as something that can personally profit them. There are many who pursue Jesus today but their pursuits are for the wrong reasons. The pursuit of this religion is for power and fame and lust. The miraculous power of God comes upon us to be filled with compassion and to reach out to a poor and needy society and gives us eyes to see people as Jesus does. What are you pursuing Christ for and how do you see people?

Behind every person that operates in manipulation is a spirit of control. When we allow the spirit of control to operate in our life we will always seek preeminence. There is a doctrine that is permeating the church that is man-centered and allows man to have preeminence that keeps them locked out of the freedom and flow of the Holy Spirit. We are not called to love the lime light we are called to love the true Light, Jesus Christ.

Tenemos que creer mas que nunca que Jesús esta obrando en nuestras vidas haciendo milagros. Si tan solo vemos a Jesús como un sanador o tan solo lo reconocemos por su poder – le temeremos pero no entenderemos necesariamente su corazón de compasión. Somos buenos dándole palabras de ánimo a la gente, pero ¿Qué sucede cuando se trata de nosotros? ¿Tenemos un corazón que esta endurecido con dudas e incredulidad?

El derrame del Espiritu Santo en los últimos días será un ministerio de uno en uno. Cuando el enemigo venga a atacar al cuerpo de Cristo con cansancio y la mentira de que fuimos rechazados y hemos perdido efectividad, el Espíritu Santo animara a aquellos que son capaces de traer palabras de consuelo para refrescarse uno a otros. Dios no envía un ángel; El usa a aquellos que han aprendido a pasar por las tribulaciones y pruebas con gozo para animar y refrescar a otros mientras ellos pasan por sus pruebas.
