God uses women. Men, as leaders of their household, like Manoah, sometimes think God has to speak to them first, but there are callings that only a woman can answer and fulfill. Through Manoah's wife God was going to bring Israel's mighty deliverer, Samson. She would need the faith to believe that her barren womb could bring forth life; and she would need the obedience to first live out for herself the call that would be on Samson's life — a call to be set apart for the purposes of God. No matter how barren we may feel emotionally or spiritually, through faith and obedience God can bring great deliverance and victory.
