As the pandemic tightens India’s borders, laws are potentially going to be passed that could make life for believers even harder. 

Fardeen* is a retired teacher and widower with a son and a daughter. A model citizen, he holds a respected position in the community and has always been concerned with school legislation and the education system in India. 

Believers in South Asia are working to be a sweet aroma among their neighbors but most of all to their Father in heaven.

Pastor Shalva* in South Asia was recently introduced to Community Health Evangelism through our World Challenge partner. He became very interested in the concepts of reaching the whole person for Christ and started implementing this into his own ministry.

Our partners live in a nation well acquainted with hard work and unrelentingly tough circumstances, but they are also seeing God’s grace and provision in miraculous ways.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Russia has reported extraordinarily low mortality rates. A group of doctors, however, have been creating a “memory list” of colleagues’ names who have died from the virus, despite official figures saying otherwise.

The Great Physician came to heal the sick, and he continues to do his powerful work in the United States’ prisons.

One of World Challenge’s partners in the United States, a husband and wife team, have a ministry in the prisons reaching out to inmates with the gospel. Sadly, COVID-19 restrictions have kept Chaplain Mario and Barbara from being able to enter the facilities the last few months.
