The world portrays sin as acceptable and even enjoyable — it won't hurt you! Just as those little vibrations caused that building to collapse, sin in our life escalates and causes our life to collapse. In the midst of it all, God provides a refuge, a way out, through His Son Jesus Christ.

At some point in our lives we all get labeled by others, and some of us carry those labels until the day we die. Once applied, labels are hard to remove. They become self-fulfilling prophecies that affect how we live our lives. Jabez, from birth, was called “pain” but he didn't let this label direct his life. Instead, he asked God to give him a life contrary to his label. Let God give you a life that lets you live contrary to the negative labels that have been applied to you.

God exists in family — as Father, Son and Holy Spirit — and because of this Satan makes family one of his primary targets. He has specifically targeted men and teens in our generation. Most of the people incarcerated grew up without a father. Teens struggle with loneliness, rejection and suicide. Pornography has infiltrated our homes. The strong influence of the media has distorted the family image and glorifies immorality. Our families are under attack and we need to fight back. It is time to bring Christ back into our lives and into our homes.
