God the Father enthroned Christ as king over all nations and all nature, and as Lord over the Church. The apostle Paul writes that when Jesus comes again, “He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords” (1 Timothy 6:15).

But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.
In Christian circles "wanting" can have negative connotations. We know that God meets all of our needs, but we have a hard time believing that he also desires to give us our wants. How do we live a life where we see our desires fulfilled? Eliminate all evil, selfish desires by studying the Word of God. Illuminate all of the pure desires that God has given you. Activate your wants through actions—step out in faith!
