Today, we rejoin Gary Wilkerson and Judy Douglass as they continue their discussion from last week and explore how the parents of a prodigal can find strength and hope.

When You Love a Prodigal – Part 1

Perhaps nothing is harder than watching someone you love choose a life that will hurt them. Today, we’re joined by Judy Douglass who shares about her life with a prodigal son. More than anything, she emphasizes how the journey alongside a beloved prodigal is never easy but always worth it.

Where Church and Families Find Each Other

Rachel Chimits

God made people to operate best in families, whether we like it or not, but what happens when our families are not healthy?

Nicky Gumbel tells a story in one of his devotionals about a busy father who was looking after his daughter and trying to find a way to keep her entertained while he worked. He took a magazine page with a world map and cut it into pieces, creating a make-shift puzzle for his little girl.

Revival in Your Home

David Wilkerson (1931-2011)

The very foundation of the Christian home is being shaken, a direct result of the moral and spiritual decay in our society. In the book of Acts we read of the glorious miracle in the household of Cornelius — a transformation that came about all because one man set out determinedly to see his family saved.

“There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius … a devout man who feared God with all his household … and prayed to God always” (Acts 10:1-2). Cornelius was so determined to see his house come into God’s fullness that he fasted and prayed without ceasing.

The End of Your Family Dysfunction

Nicky Cruz

God exists in family — as Father, Son and Holy Spirit — and because of this Satan makes family one of his primary targets. He has specifically targeted men and teens in our generation. Most of the people incarcerated grew up without a father. Teens struggle with loneliness, rejection and suicide. Pornography has infiltrated our homes. The strong influence of the media has distorted the family image and glorifies immorality. Our families are under attack and we need to fight back. It is time to bring Christ back into our lives and into our homes.
