Throughout his ministry, Christ showed a compassion for women that was highly unusual for his culture, and our partners are echoing that heart two thousand years later.

God continues to move and provide for people in Cuba who are enduring a particularly harsh season of life in the wake of COVID-19. 

Our partners in Albania love reaching out to children and sharing God’s love with these precious little ones, but only God sees every minute of their days and can preserve their lives. 

The Democratic Republic of Congo has a long, complicated and bloody past; but God is raising up his people in the peace of his presence and care. 

World Challenge’s partners are finding creative ways to support and bless church leaders in some of the world’s countries that are most closed off to the West and any Christian influence.

*Sita’s husband had to find work, so like many people in their region, he went to Dubai. With its booming tourist economy, this major Middle Eastern city almost always had companies looking to hire. He went with another purpose, though; Sita’s husband was going to help a church in Dubai.

God placed a compassionate heart and indomitable will in one Bangladeshi woman and then revealed himself to her as the maker and sustainer of this servant’s heart. 

Hasina was only 10 years old when her mother suddenly passed away. Caring for her younger sisters fell to her while their father was busy working and providing for the family. Hasina became her sisters’ mother, essentially, even helping with arranging their marriages before she finally married herself.

A teacher in the Philippines shares her testimony of how our partners’ support helped her dream of ministry come true. 

God saved a man while he was in jail for a heartbreaking crime, and the Lord is rebuilding his life now from the ground up. 

In Paul’s letter to Titus, he strongly urged this church leader, “Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us” (Titus 2:7-8, ESV).

One of our partners in Ukraine, Mir, sent us a quick update about their recent convoys to bring relief supplies into the country, specifically the cities Myrnohrad and Mykolaiv. 

While our partners were addressing a community’s need for water, God brought other needs to their attention too. 

In Macedonia’s capital city, Skopje, many public squares and parks are marked by beautiful sculptures of mothers, fathers, daughters and sons. Two of my favorites are purportedly Aleksandar and his father.
