Rooted in God means “to have a stable foundation of understanding God’s love for you.” That knowledge is the foundational truth upon which all other truths must build!

We often don’t have the strength to put on the armor of God or pray in faith the way we ought to; so we beg God to dress us in his armor and do for us what we cannot do for ourselves.

A mark of someone like Joseph is that you grieve over sin. You will pray against the inroads of Satan into the church. You will pray for righteousness to prevail.

Don’t be anxious when you feel doubtful of God’s promises. You can be assured that he will accomplish each one in his way and in his time!

God is using our trials to train, prepare and teach us to trust him for everything. The Lord has planned a time for us to be used, and we should wait in ready anticipation of his plans.

Passionate believers’ faith and righteousness will become a reproach to the half-heartedness of lukewarm believers who are consumed by worldly desires.

God will not begin a new work in his church until he does away with the old: he won’t put new wine into old wineskins, a truth we must keep in mind when we pray for a move of God among his people.

To believe in Christ as our savior, we must believe in miracles where God changes the course of nature. This type of faith is often spoken of in scripture and vital to our walk with God.

The Holy Spirit doesn’t want us to know about him so much as to know about his mission, and that mission is to bring us to Jesus and to keep us in purity and holiness.

We must admit we will starve spiritually and become weak and helpless without returning every single day to God, to hear from the Spirit and absorb his promises.
