When God’s Word does not anchor our souls, we make God out to be a liar. When we live in unbelief, we rob ourselves of his blessings and favor.
Many of us are guilty of the mother of all sins, and we do not fear it. In fact, we live as though God winks at our unbelief, but it is the sin that opens our spirit to every other sin.
Believers who wish to have wisdom should first desire to know the Lord and to be utterly attuned to his voice. Only then can we truly leave failure behind and live in a pleasing way before the Lord.
God is able to answer his children’s prayers, but he wants to do for us exceedingly above all we can imagine. He wants to answer us according to his riches and might.
When Israel only prayed for a single victory, God had something more in mind. He poured out his blessing upon them, and he wants to do the same for his people today.
All believers often ask for is mercy, forgiveness and acceptance. Instead, God wants to open the windows of heaven and poured out blessings beyond our wildest hopes.
The church of Jesus Christ is never going to see what God has for his body until he sees us seeking him in earnest, so let us zealously press forward toward the Lord.
This poem and verses stand together as a reminder of God’s deep love and specific promises to his beloved children.
God is calling his children today to get our eyes off of our circumstances. We shouldn’t try to figure it all out or let fear cast us down. God will meet us in prayer!
